Sir,
Your communication of the 6th inst. was rec'd at my office during my absence to the eastern part of the State. You enclose a resolution of the Board of School Directors of the city of Little Rock, and state that the Board desires to obtain control of the Union school house and grounds in order that they may control any [[hearforth?]] which may be placed there; and request me to state whether or not such control can be had, and for what length of time, and on what terms, and request me to communicate such other information as I deem best.
