Dear Sir:
I received yours of 24th January and replied. On returning to the city I find your favors of February 3rd and 9th.  Mrs. Stewart seems to be doing better and I have some hope that when Supt. Millen visits the place she will have contract executed and get on a little smoother.
Supt. Henderson is an excellent man and a good worker: none of "these two" [[best guess]] are better.
The colored School Board at Van Buren are right about the uses of the building for meetings of any kind other than temperance
