Fort Smith be transferred to the American Missionary Association; the building at Little Rock and at the Orphan Asylum near Helena to the Indiana Treaty Meeting of Friends: and all other to the trustee of the school district in which each is situated. It is believed that this will endorse the interests of the freedmen and prevent litigation and trouble.
