My bulb you sent is budded but the other one dont seem to be as healthy in sending out roots. we miss Lena especially Sunday nights

Dear Folks
Mild today 40° but looks like rain or snow. Mrs Barry has gone to church, theres a Chinese minister going to preach & she was anxious to hear him, as she said he was smart. Mamie Kate gets home to day, the Olanders say. after her long visit to her cousins, after their return home from their accident. should think it might be a relief all around.

The sun shines out by spells. after our cold week. well the month is most gone, hope February will be as snowless, if so we cant complain much about our winter. I hope Lena by now has got settled & knows what she is going to do. it must be she has some money tucked away that she is drawing on. hope so. guess she will be cared for in some way, it must be expensive to live down there. Mrs Barrys sister has gone with a rich relative to Daytona beach for the winter, she went in a trailor she said it was more expensive than to have gone by train as they were longer on the road. but she enjoyed the journey far better. she went last winter down to Miami she has
