that & my warm stone they keep me warm all night in the cold room.

I had Lothrop come & clear out my heater something told me to. he came with his boy he is teaching the business to & found the motor almost dry. he said it should been done when he fixed the others around this neighborhood & he set out to call here at that time. we told him we wished he had. & next time to come whether we send for home or not. he says we shall see a great difference in the running of it after this.

I must get this letter out so he will take it along when he comes. hope Doris enjoys her school she seems to make good these time in her classes. guess the right teacher makes as much difference with her as it used to with you at her age. suppose you remember Bobbie Wilson & how you lost your interest in everything under her teaching when Otta lived with us. that seems a long time ago. now I must answer Lenas letter & thank her for my little breast pin she sent me christmas in a letter (very pretty)
