Dear Folks

I am alone she has gone to church. the day is stormy and growing frosty, but no snow as yet, hope it stays away its remarkable, the ground still is bare all this time. we have had so far an ideal winter, nothing anyone can complain of here it is all most christmas[[Christmas]] .

Mamie Kate is sending about everybody she ever knew in town cards and its pestering Mrs Barry out of her wits. people dont know where she is and they are calling her up all the time to know her adress [[address]] so to return her cards, that is the way some people take so they can have lots of cards at christmas[[Christmas]] . I suppose by thsi time she is at Allys in New jersey. she was to be there at chrystmas [[Christmas]]. none of her own folks have heard from her. she is sure of a card from them you see.
