Anna has just been here & gone home in the rain she says Maude came over to her house to use her phone. (hers has been taken out). she says Henry was run into & his car was smashed up. the old car still stands in the yard with the barn door open & the baby carriage on the piazza where it has stood all through the snow storms half full of snow at times & Maude dont know how to put water into the expansion tank, so lets her fire go out. she is too lazy to draw her own breath, what will become of such a family?
