Dear Folks

This is an unsettled morning. it is wonder full how the frosts stay off. we think well now I guess its going to be colder & after a cold day & night its the same old kind of mild weather, not many days have been too cold to sit out on the porch.

This morning the chrysanthemums looked so nice I brought in two bouquets for the house, thinking another rain would spoil their beauty. I can see them for many days as they last a long time when picked.

Theres not much to write about these times I stay right here at home & not many have come this week. Alice came with her books last week. The "red admiral" & "Skippy Mcgee". she seemed all right & nothing was said about them, so guess she got over feeling put out. some folks the least said to the on better when they are over sensitive. Mystic us still up to Vermont resting. from her hard labor. Boresin Frank has been pretty good to her but guess the Bolcords never want her again. she wasnt good to Mabel. thats enough, they worship her.
