Dear Folks,

We are having cool days, but still sunny although the frosts are staying away wonderfully most of the leaves are going & its beginning to look like fall the hurrycane may have harmed them however hope we dont have another one. Charley Welches back yard they say looks terribly with those trees torn up by the roots she is not doing anything to clear it up so eventually they will remain so untill some one wants them for lumber. I haven't had a chance to see what damage it did & dont know as I want to, it would make me feel worse & as it is makes me feel bad enough to think about it.

We called up Kimtis (she did) & told him that we were sorry he had not stuck to his word in coming to shingle the house as he said he would & if he wasn't coming he would have to come & put those pile of shingles under cover, as they were not safe from children over halloween that no knowing what they'd do & we would not be responsible he thought he might be here
