Dear Folks

The day has begun pleasant for a good day to spend riding on to the shore. Mr Soper has got through taking care of Jack Wayland. he heard jenna was going around town talking about him, that he was no good and didnt do anything so he gave his notice and George Emery is taking his place no knowing how long he will put up with him they will pay good money before they through now let me tell you. nobody is going to stand his disposition long

Mrs Soper came up here yesterday morning to ask us to go for a pie me with them today down to some shore place, I saw her coming and ran up stairs but for all Mrs Barry told her that I was not able. she came up stairs and asked me and so in a very gracious tone I simply told her it was impossible for me to stand the jaunt, such sensitive people, you have to handle them carefully. she hates pienies but promised them she would go much against her will. so they have just driven off. I dont envy her, their talk alone would tire one out, say nothing about
