After her sister goes Mr. Turner is getting up a party to go on a tour to Quebec, Gaspe Penintula [[Peninsula]], Provinces and Maine. if he puts it through, she thinks of going too, its expensive but he will for the sake of her cheery company, let her go cheaper than the rest & Alice told her without being asked, that day she was here & he took her home, that she would stay here with me for company. so you see everything is arranged in case she goes, but they may not be able to put it through. he has got to get his car out which he has not felt so far rich enough to accomplish, but will try hard to do. he is a very nice man in every way. he has a daughter that was married in Brockton Saturday night. a big family of children he's had & a second wife. he is very good to us & feels bad when he can't take me along with them too. but short rides are enough for me these days. little things tire me now.

Laura is getting along wonderfully well. we shall be glad when she will be able to come out & mingle with her crowd. her plants I still have with me. they will go home to her, when she is able to care for them again. I am sending some clippings along that were cut out of the Enterprise this week. hope your painting times you still are enjoying. Ma Lotty says they sold a lot of furniture at Maudes [[Maude's]] so she read it in the Paper. I did'nt [[didn't]] see it
