and possibly in each Sub District, on 4th inst I reported to C.G.S. that Captain Beach C.S. would soon be available for duty in Florida. This to purchase beef Cattle a project General Eaton is very anxious to have carried out at once, and Captain Beach is at present the only available Officer for that duty. I am sorry General that my views of the best interest of the service apparently clash with yours. My successor may have different ideas. I expect to leave here on 21st
