Your esteemed favor of September 19th in answer to my enquiries of Aug 29th in delay received. Since I wrote my letter above referred to I removed to this Place and after your letter in reply had remained some time in Cincinnati it was forwarded to me at this place which accounts for the delay - Without more light on the Subject I am at a loss to speak definitely on the subject - I am not (permanently) engaged in any business and suppose teaching a Freedmans school would suit me as well as anything I know of if the compensation was moderately remunerative, my expectations being moderate
