Informs the Supt that the house he examined had been blown down and owing to rotten logs many were broken. Freedmen have determined to rent a house & with the $50 contributed by Freedn & the $91 from the Bureau thinks by the freedmen doing the work they can put up a new house. House proposed for rent will seat 60 or 70 children - asks advice as to what course to pursue.
