TIMOTHY HARRISON, Secretary
OFFICE OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF INDIANA YEARLY MEETING OF FRIENDS, FOR THE RELIEF OF FREEDMEN
Richmond, Ind,. 8 - 17 - 1867

N. M. Colby - Supt of Education
Little Rock Ark

Esteemed Friends

I am much obliged for the school reports received.

The Ex. Com at their called meeting on the 9th of the month concluded to send 4 Teachers to Little Rock and 2 to Helena. I do not know who will have charge at Little Rock but we have made arrangements for two young women to go unless they are called to some other part of the work viz. Emma Hubbard or [[?Thissie Heirt]] I do not know that any of the Teachers who were at Little Rock last winter will return.

In consequence of orders from Washington no return transportation has been or can be collected.

Hoping that the good work will continue

I remain
Thy sincere friend
Timothy Harrison
