I have the honor to state that there are four school houses in this County that are far enough advanced to be used for the purpose of instructing the Freedmen and their children.  Please inform me if the Teachers and necessary School books can be furnished by the Bureau.
My impression is that the schools can be made self supporting.  Although the Freedmen are very poor and are compelled to live very frugally they can I think Eke enough out of their means
