Miss Getman arrived here Safe and Sound yesterday morning will open school here on Monday next. Please inform me what the association and State propose to do for the teachers pecuniarly, and what amt. if anything Should be charged the freedpeople for tuition. I am under the impression that the old rate of one dollar per month is too much. when compared with the wages received by the freedmen. I wish to know these facts in order to be governed by them in making arrangements for Miss G for the winter. I think Pine Bluff is very
