Youre of Nov. 26th was read with pleasure, and I now respond with a "Happy New Year!" During the past two weeks school has been small. Probably the holidays had much to do with it, but I find that our school-house is, at present, very unfavorably situated for a large attendance in wet weather. We have a foot bridge across the stream, but it is of no use when the water is very high for it spreads out almost like a river. A great deal of labor is required to make a good road for all seasons.
