     Forwards estimate of material &c for the erection of a school house at Lake Village, Ark.  amtg to $2,000.00 - Notes that owing to the prejudice amongst the people of that section, he has been unable to to obtain a equitable place for a school house.  owners refusing to sell.  They have found a house & lot that can be bought for 2,000.$ by keeping from the owner the object &c.  the owner has given a bond for a deed to Judge Tillman who has pledged himself to turn it over to the Amer. Miss. Asso.  A house like it could not be built for 2,500$.  No school nearer than Pine Bluff
