R.F. & A.L., Washington D.C. Sir: I respectfully request permission to erect a schoolhouse at Rocky Comfort, Little River Co. Ark. to cost about ($2200) twenty-two hundred dollars and to accommodate about 50 pupils. This place is five miles from the extreme S.W. corner of the state. Copy of a deed of six acres of land for the purpose to the H.W. [[??]] Assocn. is herewith enclosed. I have the honor to be very respectfully your obedient Servant Wm. M. Colby Supt of Ed.
