Dear Mr. Hanson:

I enclose herewith a copy of a letter I am just writing to your Secretary for National Defense, as well as a copy of a letter to the Manager for Pan American Airways in this City. Mr. Wilson will write to the P.A.A., in Mexico, D. F., on my behalf.

Both letters are self explanatory and I am writing to you and hoping to secure your assistance in securing quite promptly the necessary permit. I expect to leave here with Mrs. Hudson about the end of this month for Brownsville. If we have to spend the night in your City, I shall with pleasure call you up.

Although I am still a national of the U. S. A., I expect that before the end of the current month I will be a Guatemalteco. Mrs. Hudson will arrive here in a few days and will at the same time take out her papers.

Hoping to soon have the pleasure of again seeing you, and with kind regards, I am,

Sincerely yours,

Gerardo E. L. Hanson, Esq., [[PKIT?]]
Technical Advisor to the
Governor of Tabasco.
