Dear Ev:

I was delighted to receive your letter of the tenth and was amused by the enclosed clipping. We used to get those cruise boats at Central American ports and the Canal Zone and I often wondered where they found so many identical types. Am forwarding the clipping to Johnny today.

The Nourses, complete with Dog, departed several weeks ago for Bogotá and I received a note from Boyce stating that they arrived in good shape.

There is little news to pass on. The peso is steady at 8.65 to 1.00 U.S.Cy. , and the outlook indicates firmness for some months at least.

Please give our best to Ruth, Cookie, Bess and Tom.

Sincerely,

E. R. Silliman
