Dear Tubby:

I thought you might miss these clippings on Silliman.

It was very interesting that he actually went back to the very same town where he worked so long, and to the funeral of his best friend, to cash in. I knew him for many years and recall very well the time he told me about his family's early life in Texas.

You might be interested to know that our next-door neighbor is John C. (Jack) Schroeter, who moved recently to 5104 Scarsdale Road, Sumner, Washington 16, D.C. We had met only a few minutes when he told me that he was in Mexico during the pioneering days of aviation, that he knew you, Wilbur Morrison and many of the others. He asked about George Rihl, also.
