Dear Mr.Séligmann:

Many thanks for your note of May 10th.-Though my apartment is completely covered in protection against the moths, I shall be pleased to follow your advice and I am quite prepared to show to your friend my paintings. As a matter of fact, I don't know yet exactly when I shall come to New York again, but as soon as I know the day I shall get in touch with you immediately so that you still will be able to find out whether an appointment can be arranged.

With best personal regards,

yours very truly
