Dear Doris

We are having warm days. last night a thunder shower made it muggy this morning. I have just hung my washing out but dont expect it to dry, as it looks as much like showers to day. but never mind it wont hurt anything & may improve the pieces.

Mrs Barry has just gone to church. Frank took her, she is going to sing in the choir. they went to a wedding in the church Friday night, but it turned bad as the 3 brothers of the bride were taken to reform school & their mother & father had to go down to the depot at the officers request, to that delayed their wedding, after that it passed off fairly well. their 3 sons had been the ones who had made all the breaks here in town. the Ballantines were sure they heard them around their house & sounded their police whistle, they had just been discharged from reform school & went at this thieving worse than ever. Their mother is Fannie Cameron's daughter she married a Swanson & sings in the Episcopal choir with Mrs Barry, who feels very bad for his family.
