Dear Folks,
We are having cold days for the time of the year more so than we can remember. The paper says this is due to a cold waive coming down from the Arctic regions extending clear to America all through the South.
We need all our winter clothes + heat at night I have my winter blankets + then am not any too warm. I wonder if you get it down in Washington or Lena down in Florida the days are cloudy, but very little sun shine so we have cold + damp weather prevails all over New England good weather to sleep.
I am sending a small bundle down your slips + a little package inside for little Louis benefit as soon as Miss Barry can get down town to mail it. before the end of the week perhaps.
My roses are blooming very full this year also the peonies. tiger lillies are next coming on also the rambler roses, my seven bristle rose bush looks beautiful a pretty shape + full of blossoms I wish the rose bugs would stay off but they spoil every thing they get on to.
