with the incurable disease. hot weather will never jar her. she thrives on it. So does Mammie Kate. she means to go down South another Winter, she went to Wenham yesterday after getting rid of her furniture she called on us Tuesday + brought Mrs Barry a small radio with a table to put it on. One that Mrs Barry used to have in her room when she lived with her. We dont know how long she will be content down there but they are very nice people she has gone to live with.
Shane just heard from Mrs Bruce over the telephone that her cesspool is still running over, he that Shuhan [[best guess?]] man took six loads out + his wife + boy brought up the bill + I paid him $12. Two dollars a load + now its running over again so I dont know what to do, they say it was'nt done properly. it takes all my strength, I am afraid theres trouble ahead + theres no one to see to it. I guess it needs a man to deal with such a case I hope it comes out all right. After Mrs Barry gets home she will tell me what to do, perhaps. she is a good talker + knows how to manage such people. So dont you worry, something was wrong with the darn fool its a pity I paid him.
