Carra came into the door yard yesterday where Mrs Barry was raking leaves to tell her about Old Drake. he met him down town & he flew at him & called him a thief & a crook right before everybody & said he's crazy is'nt he?. he is the one who yelled at her when she went there to see what they asked me about being done to their kitchen she was enough for him & told him what he could do he is scart [scared] to death of her & if he sees her coming he goes & hides. Hazel came over after wards (this was a year ago), before she went to work in the morning to ask us if we said they would have to move. she said no I was simply telling him what he could do with the ammount [amount]of money he paying out now any where else, where they had modern improvements he was talking to her so braggy. she was just the one to talk to the old fool it put him in his place & he has remained there ever since & he has great respect for her We were putting out rubbish all the forenoon to be carted off by the town
