Dear Folks

I hope you landed all right at the last of your journey home & also hope everything there remained all safe as you left it when you arrived. Was the cat glad to see you? I bet he was. You must have been tired & home looked good to you!

We are having a pleasant day here at last. So many stormy days this month it has been a hectic winter. night before last they were having a thunder show somewhere about three O'clock in the morning I woke up in time to hear the distant reports it was raining hard all night. hope you didn't get into it on your return journey.

Lena seems to be having a taste of nursing. hope her strength holds out otherwise we think she might be good at it. she is very sympathetic. Myrtie is getting pretty well fed up on her case. think she may leave but the ten dollars a week looks pretty good to her her patient they say is pretty exacting & like a great many in shocks dont realize
