against the claim or claims of all other persons claiming said Slave throug or by him and against the lawful claims of all previous owners of said Slave.

And herein subrogating said Purchaser to all the actions of warranty which he as vendor held and exercised to said property.

The vendor now dispenses with the production of a certificate of a mortgage on said Slave as required by the 3328th "article" of the Civil Code of this State,

Thus done and passed before me at office in Mansfield Parish aforesaid in presence of George R Draughon and John McLoughlin competent Witnesses domiciliated in said Parish who also Sign their names together with said Parties and me Said Recorder and notary on the day, month, and year in the beginning first written -
