I would respectfully state that in behalf of my Client Holly Washington I addressed a letter to the Court. After being denied by them a new trial in the case of Degolia vs Holly Washington, and others requesting they would forward the whole proceedings to Maj Genl E. Sickles not notise however was taken of it.

Mr. Degolia offend to take Fifty Dollars for Hollies share of the Crop which we agreed to pay. But when we offend: Mr. Degolia which would hav subjected Holly to a fine of Fifty Dollars for a slight violation of an unjust Contract he refused unless Holly would pick the whole crop (4 1/4) Acres. We consented even to this, but Mr. Degolia refusing to let Holly and his Wife gather the Crop yet insisting he should pay for the Harvesting. This would hav subjected Holly to a fine of not less than $90.00 and being a cleare outrage I opposed it and further the man could not
