Miss Belle Greene,
33 East 36th street
New York

Dear Madam,-

I don't think you remember me as on several occasions, when you saw me, you apparently did not recognize me. It was my privilege to meet you on my first visit to America four years ago, when my uncle, Mr. Jacques Seligmann, took me along with him to call on you.
For quite a number of years I have heard so much about you through my uncle and Mr. Rey that I am under the impression that I know you awfully well.

I would consider it a privilege if you would allow me to see the Library and the marvelous works of art which you have there, and I would greatly enjoy seeing you again.

Pray believe me,

Yours sincerely,
