November 1st, 1956

My dear Sir:

Checking over some of the books and documents forwarded by Mr. Germain Seligman in the course of the last few months, may I take the liberty of inquiring whether the ones sent duly reached you?

They were namely:

Mr. Germain Seligman's Monograph on

"Roger de La Fresnaye"

as well as catalogue of the

"Odilon Redon"

exhibition held at his galleries in New York. They were mailed by registered post on September 12th, 1956.

I feel certain and hope you will not mind my inquiring, but in view of the fact that mail to Europe has proved quite unsatisfactory of late, I find it necessary to check these shipments.

Yours very sincerely,

Suzanne Rath
Secretary to Mr. Germain Seligman
