Dear Sir:

Having heard that you are interested in floral paintings by French artists, we are herewith enclosing you a photograph of a painting by ODILON REDON who is now considered to be one of the greatest modern painters of flowers. This picture is done in pastel which is the artist's chief medium, but he had a way of fixing his colors which made them practically permanent. Of course, the photograph gives you no idea of its wonderful color quality, and we thought that perhaps the next time you were in New York you might care to come in to see it and likewise look through our galleries, as we not only have modern paintings, but we have a very large collection of 18th century paintings, tapestries of all periods, and 18th century French furniture.

Our main establishment is the Ancien Palais Sagen in Paris of which we are herewith enclosing you, with our compliments, a pamphlet which we thought you might be interested to read.

In the meanwhile, believe us to be

Yours very truly,
