Dear Sir:

Knowing that you are interested in modern paintings, I am taking the liberty of writing you these few lines to tell you that we have recently acquired several very fine examples of the modern French school, including a superb little portrait of a young girl by Renoir, a Toulouse Lautrec, a Van Gogh and a beautiful still life by Cézanne.

If you thought you would be at all interested in any of these, we would be delighted to let you have further particulars and photographs, upon hearing from you.

In the meanwhile, hoping to be favored with a reply,

Believe us to be

Yours respectfully,
