Dear Mr. Harrison:

I would have written you sooner but I did not suppose that you would be back in Los Angeles, to receive my letter. However, having just returned to New York, I wanted to thank you again for your very kind reception and most helpful suggestions during my brief stay in Los Angeles. I appreciated no end, the opportunity of visiting Mr. Balch's collection and also seeing your own collection at the museum.

As agreed before you left, I communicated immediately with Mr. Maybury, who was, of course, out of town. I received a letter from his [[crossed out]]secretary[[/crossed out]] Mabury, saying it would be impossible to see his collection under the circumstances. Therefore, I will have to let this go for some future visit. On the other hand, Mr. Kurtzworth, very kindly arranged for me to see Mr. Hole's collection but I never heard from him regarding Mrs. Fisher.

It turned out, however, that I was terribly busy during the last week of my stay, that I don't see how I could have accomplished more than I did. Anyway, I am very glad that I can look forward to some new artistic experiences, should I return, some time in the future.

I hope that your bill has been passed successfully through the Legislature and eagerly look forward to hearing from you in this regard. In the meantime, my renewed thanks and cordial greetings.

Believe me to be,

Yours very sincerely,

(Robert M. Levy)
