Dear Mr. Hartford,

Hearing that you are in Paris, I am taking the liberty of writing you these few lines to ask you whether you would have time, some afternoon, to call at our main establishment at the Ancien Palais Sagan, 57 rue Saint Dominique, as we would like to show you a number of important things we have recently acquired.

You undoubtedly know our house by reputation, as we have been established in Paris for over fifty years, and in New-York for over thirty.

Hoping therefore to have the pleasure of your visit sometime during the coming week.

Believe me to be,

Yours very truly,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & FILS.

By,

G. Hartford, Esq.,
hotel de Crillon
place de la Concorde.
