Dear Mrs. Haskell,
I am taking the liberty of writing
you these few lines to remind you of your
kind promise to call in to see me when you
come to New York after Thanksgiving, as I
should very much like you to see the portraits
of which I showed you the photographs when I
called on you.
Since I saw you in Chicago, we have re-
ceived one or two other things about which I
did not talk to you, but under any circumstances,
I am looking forward to seeing you here, as I
should like to show you through our galleries
which I know you would enjoy seeing.
In the meanwhile, with my kindest re-
gards, and hoping that both Mr. Haskell and
yourself are keeping in good health, believe
me to be
Yours sincerely,
