Dear Mr. Hayden:

We have just been given for sale, one of the most beautiful paintings by HUBERT ROBERT that we have ever had, and owing to the fact that the owner is very anxious to dispose of it for cash, it can be had at a fraction of its original cost.

It is quite important in size, as it measures
39 1/4" high by 32 1/4" wide. It is an exceptionally fine typical Hubert Robert composition, showing ruins, with a washerwoman in the foreground kneeling by a stream; an old house with a water-wheel; and in the background foliage painted very much in the manner of BOUCHER.

It is most brilliant in color, and it is practically in its pristine condition, and it is also fully signed and dated.

If you would be at all interested in it, we
will be very pleased to let you have further particulars upon hearing from you.

In the meanwhile, believe us to be,

                          Yours very truly,
                JACQUES SELIGMANN & COMPANY, Inc.
