Dear Mr. Hickox:

I would like very much to talk to you about two painting of the
utmost importance that we have been charged to dispose of, namely a
magnificent Memling and a very fine Crivelli.

I am under the impression that these paintings can be bought at
such advantages prices that even in times like these they would
represent an excellent capital investment.

Inasmuch as I don't know whether you have already moved to the
city or are still in the country, I wonder whether you cannot spare
me a few minutes at your office one day soon, and I shall be very
glad to come downtown and discuss the details.

I trust you and Mrs. Hickox had a very pleasant summer and that
my lines find you in the best of health.

Looking forward to the pleasure of hearing from you, I meanwhile
remain

With kind personal regards,
Yours very sincerely,

(R. H. Waegen)
