Dear Mr. Seligmann:-

Mrs. Hickox asked me to write and thank you for your letter of February 28th, inviting us to see a French Primitive before you send it to the Museum.

Unfortunately, Mrs. Hickox has been more than busy with the house in the country and running a charity benefit, so that she has not been able to do all these other things which she would like to do.

We hope, however, that we may be able to visit your place sometime soon.
