January 8th, 1935.

Dear Mrs. Hickox,

When Hans Waegen was still with my firm he often told me of the very fine collection of paintings which you own, and this, together with the fact that I have not had the pleasure of seeing you at our galleries in quite some time prompts me to ask you whether I could have the privilege of calling on you.

I surmise that at this period of the year you are very busy, and therefore I shall take the liberty of calling you up in a few days to inquire whether, and when, it would be agreeable for you to receive me.

I do hope that you will not mind my making this request, and, looking forward to having soon the opportunity of calling on you,

Pray believe me to be

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
