Dear Doris

Bill is taking Mrs Barry to ride & before they get back I will scribble my sunday letter to you so he will take it on his way home & leave it in the Office.

We found out why Dykeman had not put in the wire over to the old place it was because he had to wait for that particular wire that was needed to light such a place. at this times he says they are scarce it arrived Saturday morning just before she called him up & he said he did'nt [[didn't]] blame us for feeling anxious Mrs Barry told him it was all right. so he went right to work on it yesterday. Hazel will now paint it & wont have to use her flash light. her boss has raised her pay instead of giving her a vacation & when her father died he came to the funeral & gave her a hundred dollars. so guess he must think a good deal of her.
