my lilly of the valley are all over my lawn Addie had on a dress with figured lilly of the valley on it so she said she picked some to go down to the shore yesterday. they have spread onto her lawn & I told her to pick them anytime we had oceans of them both on our front lawn & back. our little violets are coming up every where. the soil seems just right for them. Hazel brought them from Arthurs farm years ago she loved them. & they came up under the front windows ground used to be blue with them. well I am at the end of my rope now so will say good bye

Dear Doris

We are having a warm spell thermometer was 90° on the porch in the afternoon but a little cooler to day.

Addie went to the shore yesterday & said it was awful hot there & when I told her how hot it was here she was surprised. it depends how the wind is. we have this changeable weather which makes us notice it more. It is a good time for children to have whooping cough in warm weather also much better to have childrens diseases when young. you
