and Coleman Freeman, & Harry Martin; likewise colored, were told by James Banks, white, who lives at fork of Little and Big Rivers, that on the day of Election the roads leading to the same box would be guarded, and unless the colored people either went there to vote the Democratic ticket [[strikethrough]] ticket [[/strikethrough]], or, otherwise, staid away altogether, they would be shot down on the way.
