But by far the most important (and in fact a very necessary alteration) was the construction of a new recitation room in the rear of the assembly Hall. 
By a letter rec yesterday I find the expense will be much less than the first estimate and will cost but $50 (fifty doll) including the repair of locks & masonry work.
