General 
I have the honor to request permission to take up on my Form "2" for Oct 1st 1869 a House occupied for school purposes in the town of Marion S.C. owned by J. D. Mobley. The rent 15.00 per month to be applied to the support of the school until January 1st 1870 after which time it is expected that the house to be built by the "Bureau" will be completed and the colored people will be able to support a teacher without assistance.
