cannot teach to advantage in one room. Our advanced classes need good accomadations.

There is only one room in the Church and it will break down any teachers that try to do their duty in it. Two of us have had sad experiences of this kind.

These may all seem, personal and small reasons, but I plead for the children as well, they cannot advance as rapidly as they would under favorable circumstances. No one regrets more than myself the large rent Major Deane pays to keep this place, and I am willing to make any sacrifice that will not be such a disadvantage to the school.

I am glad and willing to give the remnant of my life to this Cause, but I want to be able to work while it lasts.
