A perfect apathy exists on the part of both race and the people as a general thing, have almost intirely neglected to provide a sufficient number of school houses or teachers for the large number of children in the County, who are growing up in ignorance. They may be a afected by State and Government aid and a better desire on the part of parents for the education of their children.
