Genl R once forbid the sale by the sheriff and after the Bureau explained the execution was reviewed & church sold & he now recognizes the sale as legal. I need my pay very much and I am certain if Genl R could have the proper view of this matter presented to him I would get my pay at once. I enclose the letter I showed to you once which would be a good shewing for the Genl to have my claim paid.
