PS. would it be asking too much to
request that you see Mr. Welch or Genl
Reynolds about my claim against
the church at this place it has not been
paid yet.  Genl R once forbid the sale
by the sheriff and after the Bureau explained
the execution was reviewed & church sold
& he now recognizes the sale as legal.  I need
my pay very much and I am certain if 
Genl R could have the proper view
of this matter presented to him I would 
get my pay at once.  I enclose the letter
I showed to you once which would be a
good shewing for the Genl to have my claim
paid.  I shall be very much obligid if you 
can serve me in this matter. & I shall be at
all times ready to reciprocate the same.
